Awesome playing! As I consider myself one of Rich's students I feel I can comment on this spectacular! This is real deal! Its not over produced or producer edited, and the guitar work is fantastic! Even people new to Jazz will enjoy this CD as its not over the top just very good playing all round! Rich's playing is very melodic and Wes Side Of Heaven is now a permanent fixture on my Ipod! Rich Severson is an absolutely fantastic electric jazz guitar player and has a wonderful "rich" tone. Rich is supported by a bass player and drummer. If you like bebop-era guitar and jazz, you will love this CD.
