Want to learn how to play Jazz Fingerstyle guitar and create your own arrangements?
This series originally started off as a fingerstyle arranging course however so many students have reported that it should be titled "How to play and arrange finger style." that we have renamed it. So in these lessons not only will you learn how to create fingerstyle arrangements of your favorite songs, you will also learn how to play fingerstyle through the process. Follow along with Rich lesson by lesson and he will teach you how he approaches the arrangement and how to play it too.
A fingerstyle arrangement incorporates the melody, harmony and bass line. The first step in learning how to craft your own arrangement is studying chord melodies, harmonizing a song's melody without the bass line. Then he works on bass lines, different styles and what will suit your song best. He also tackles turnarounds, intros and endings. This is a big subject so he breaks it down piece by piece, measure by measure, lesson by lesson to fully equip you with the tools you need to build your own fingerstyle arrangements and play them as well.
The lessons increase in difficulty as you progress building on one another. 20 lessons totaling approximately thirteen and a half hours of video instruction. Available individually, in bundles or save on the entire set.
Student Comment: Thanks Dr. Rich! As I have said for over 7 years since I bought your Jazz and Rhythm/Theory lesson series, your teaching and presentation is simply the very best I have ever seen. In addition, your mini download lessons on chord melodies and inversions of min7 and Maj6 have helped me to understand guitar more than anything I have ever studied in my 30 yrs of playing. You are very thorough and exact, yet very patient and accessible. Thanks!! gtrrobster
