In this video lesson Rich shows common and some uncommon guitar voicings of chord substitutions for the three basic chord families (Major, Minor & Dom7). A total of 24chords are shown, eight per family, that can be plugged into your playing, adding more colors to the chord progressions you play.
These are all direct substitutions that many jazz players use but will also work in many styles. Whether you are a blues, country or fingerstyle player, these voicings will expand your chord knowledge and set you apart from the others. Altered chords are not covered in this video. 32 minute video with closeups and discussion plus PDF music with chord grids.
