In this lesson we will begin to master the arpeggios found in the melodic minor scale. When we play the scale a 1/2 step above the root of a dominant chord we bring out altered chord tones. We can name that scale either the Jazz Scale or the Dominant Melodic Minor Scale. Now when we focus on the arpeggios of the scale and use them for soloing we can get some "outside" sounds. Rich explains an easier way to memorize the chords and includes a worksheet to help you reach this end.
