This beautiful, romantic ballad is a perfect addition to your repertoire. Rich's arrangement is in the key C#minor and includes some reharmonizations. It's a brilliantly written song in a minor key modulating to the the relative major key for the chorus. The Burt Bacharach/Hal David pop tune was originally recorded by Dusty Springfield as part of the original sound track of 1967 James Bond film Casino Royal. It received an Oscar Best Song nomination and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008. Probably the best known version was recorded by Sergio Mendez and Brazil '66 reaching #4 on the pop charts.
